Rest Haven Cemetery on the left is the final resting place of Captain Tod Carter and Dr. F.P. Sloan who died of his Franklin Battle wounds on June 19, 1865, more than seven months after the battle. The Old City Cemetery just beyond 4th Avenue North contains the graves of Fountain Branch Carter and his wife. |
